Guidelines for Plenary / Oral Presentation

Basic Guidelines

Allocated Presentation Time

  • Plenary Oral Presentation: 12 min. (7 min. presentation + 5 min. Q&A)
  • Oral Presentation: 10 min. (7 min. presentation + 3 min. Q&A)
    * Kindly check your presentation time as previously announced via E-mail.

Presentation Slides

  • File Format: Presentation slides should be made in MS PowerPoint (2007 or newer version).
  • Screen Ratio: As for the aspect ratio of your presentation file (slides), a ratio of 16:9 is recommended. If you submit it at 4:3, both sides of the slide may look black.
  • Font: Use a common font such as Aptos, Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman, etc.
  • Using the provided template is recommended, but not mandatory.

Equipment

  • Podiums will be equipped with a monitor, mouse and smart pointer (No keyboard).
  • For the convenience of speakers, we will provide a slide note function so that you can see the script in the PPT you prepared.
  • The use of personal laptops or Macs in the session room is not recommended.
  • If you wish to present with your own laptop (IBM or Mac), please visit the Preview Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled session.
  • If you use your own Macintosh with our beam projector, we ask to bring your Mac RGB Connector as we don’t provide any devices for Macintosh.

Presentation File Submission

  • Operation Hours :
    • April 10 (Thu), 11:00-18:00
    • April 11 (Fri), 07:00-18:00
    • April 12 (Sat), 07:00-18:00

Before Your Presentation

  • Please be sure to keep to the allocated presentation time in consideration of the next speaker.
  • Arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
  • You will be responsible for controlling/advancing your presentation slides.

Poster Session Operating Hours

  • April 11 (Fri): E-Poster Viewing in the Art Hall (4F)
  • April 12 (Sat): E-Poster Viewing and Poster Oral Presentation in Art / Pine / Oak Hall (4F)
  • Poster Oral Presentation: April 12 (Sat), 10:15-11:35 [80']

Presentation Slides

  • File Format: Presentation slides should be made in MS PowerPoint (2007 or newer version).
  • Screen Ratio: As for the aspect ratio of your presentation file (slides), a ratio of 16:9 is recommended. If you submit it at 4:3, both sides of the slide may look black.
  • Page Limit: Maximum of 8 slides (Including title and COI Slides)
  • Font: Use a common font such as Aptos, Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman, etc.
  • Media & Multimedia: Pictures, graphs and tables can be included on the Poster, but video and audio will not be supported.
  • Please select your preferred template from the two options below to make your presentation slides.

Presentation File Submission

  • Submission Deadline: March 21 (Fri.), 2025
  • File Name: Poster Code_Presenter Name (i.e. PO1-1_Gildong Hong)
    • Poster Oral: Please submit your presentation in PPT format.
    • Poster Exhibition: Please submit your poster in PDF format.
  • Poster codes will be informed to each presenter by email.
  • If the Dropbox link doesn't work, please send your file to the secretariat by email (info@imkasid.kr).

Poster Oral Presentation

  • All poster oral presenters are required to stand in front of their poster topic booths and present their presentation (10 min. = 7 min. presentation + 3 min. Q&A) at the designated (allocated) time.
  • Allocated presentation times will be informed to each presenter by email.
  • In the poster oral presentation session, the slide note function is not provided.
